PASA offers programs and support so students can succeed. Members can come to the club room (ST 058-060) weekdays between ~8am and ~8pm (hours are not official and depend on when people are around) for homework and physics course assistance.
In addition, we offer a mentorship program for new students. Individuals are paired with an experienced member of similar interests for personal and academic assistance. Please visit our Discord server or speak with an executive member for more information and the sign-up sheet.
Below are student support services offered by the University of Calgary.
- Mental health services
- Wellness supports
- Student accessibility services
- Undergraduate science center
The anonymous survey below is for you to express concerns within the Physics and Astronomy department anonymously through PASA. Please remember that you are always welcome to reach out to the resources we suggest on your own if you are comfortable, but if you would like to remain anonymous and have PASA representatives speak on your behalf, you may use this form. You do not need to be a member of PASA to use this form!
To voice your concerns more broadly, please consider sending a survey response to the DGA and EDI committees to advocate for PHAS students.
Return to In-Person
PASA is excited to return to in person learning. The following document outlines each PASA member's responsibilities for this upcoming academic year.
